LiFEsports regularly relies on volunteers to support our programs across Columbus. We welcome anyone who has a passion for sports, a love of nurturing young minds, and a heart for giving back to contact us and become a LiFEsports volunteer! Whether you are and individual volunteer to a team/group, we’d love for you to get involved with LiFEsports!
Share Your Love of Sport
Did you grow up playing sports but miss it as an adult? LiFEsports needs volunteers to help staff and coach our clinics around Central Ohio. Most of our clinics are only a two-hour time commitment and allow you to share your love of the game with youth in need.
Become a Mentor
Juniors and Seniors in our Youth Leadership Academy are paired with an adult mentor each year. This mentor commits to one, two hour meeting per month to help support his/her mentee through their final two years of high school. As part of this process, mentors support the youth in examining colleges, completing college applications, and celebrating their acceptance into college!
Host a Career Experience
Do you love what you do? Youth in our Youth Leadership Academy participate in career experiences throughout their four year program. LiFEsports is always looking for organizations willing to open their doors to our youth and share about career pathways within the organization. These experiences can be set up to meet the time availability of your organization.
Create Your Own Adventure
Do you have time to give but don’t necessarily love working with youth? LiFEsports has a number of volunteer opportunities that will help our organization with administrative tasks. For instance, we often need volunteers to help with program registration, organizing fundraising events, or distribution events.
