This past weekend LiFEsports joined forces with the Columbus Futsal Club to provide our first-ever clinic at the Linden Community Center! Led by Coach Dante, Columbus Futsal spent about 30 minutes teaching 30 youth the basic skills of the sport needed to play. Coach Dante was assisted by Coach Bry, Coach Sydney and former LiFEsports Camper, Audrey! After the initial skill instruction, the youth engaged in a variety of activities and games where they utilized their newly developing futsal skills while also being reminded of SETS (self-control, effort, teamwork, and social responsibility). Thanks again to Columbus Futsal Club for volunteering their time to teach our youth all about the sport of futsal!
