Using Yoga for Fitness & Relaxation

The month of February gave us another opportunity to host a virtual clinic. It may have been virtual, but our kids showed up and got moving!

LiFEsports youth learned basic yoga moves from our guest facilitator, Daniel Sernicola, from Danja Yoga. Coach Daniel has been teaching yoga for years and has many certifications (such as trauma Informed yoga, yoga for athletes, restorative yoga, meditation, etc.). Daniel has worked with athletes for many years to improve athletic performance from both a physical and mental perspective.

Coach Daniel walked our youth through various yoga poses such as the tree pose and downward dog. He also facilitate a mindfulness activity, reminding us how important our mind is. Watch Coach Daniel teaching yoga and SETS to our youth.
