Attend Our Parent Engagement Session !
Parents, come join us at our next Parent Engagement Session! We have partnered with Dr. Jackie Goodway, Professor of the Department of Human Sciences - Kinesiology at The Ohio State University, who will facilitate an hands-on and interactive discussion about the importance of younger children's gross motor skill development.
Dr. Jackie Goodway specializes in motor skill development and her work has been published and awarded. Through out this session, parents will be introduced to Fundamental Motor Skills and an understanding of it's importance, especially as it relates to sport participation for youth as they age. Parents will be taken through the different stages of development for skills like catching, throwing, striking, and kicking and different activities you can do to help your child(ren) move through stages.
